City Island Bronx suggestions?

I was wondering if someone could steer me in the right direction for Pelham Bay, City Island. My horse is at the Bronx Barn right at the crossroad for City Island and I would like to know if there is anything on City Island where I could go to after a day of riding? Looking for brunch, lunch or even a great bar would be nice. Casual is definitely the way to go since I will be in riding clothes. LOL

My suggestion along City Island Ave. would be Artie's Steak & Seafood...it is a lively restaurant unlike the others along the strip serving both contemporary and traditional dishes with some flair...portions are ample too. They also have a nice bar/lounge area.
In Pelham Bay I would recommend Enzo's on Williamsbrige Road, just off Pelham Parkway, just for the down home Italian cuisine...much better than average.

Thank you, gutreactions. I think that I would most likely go to Artie's for the appetizers. Any recommendations regarding their menu?

Try going to their website: artiesofcityisland.com...you can graze in the lounge or inside one of several dining rooms. Make sure you check what's on their weekly blackboard. Last time there I enjoyed their Duck Spring Rolls...and a fabulous Seafood Salad which is actually enough for two. Good Lobster Club Sandwich too!
