Food at Queen & Sherbourne

Hi, guys.

Hubby & I are getting tattoos at the above location at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, & need a place to have a bite before the ordeal.

What can you recommend that's right within a block or two of Q & S.?

Mengrai Thai. Walk one block east to Ontario and head south one block. One of the very few restaurants in Toronto that serves fantastically executed Thai food. Great service and nice place, too.

Gary, i forgot that my hubby & i have been to Betty's a couple of years ago, and we enjoyed it....thanks.

The Richmond Rogue (next to Cafe 260 above) is also pretty good pub grub

If you're looking for something quick, Cafe 260 at Richmond just west of Sherbourne has good sandwiches and soups, coffees and teas.

A short walk down to King there is Betty's for pub grub (not sure what the rule is on drinking before tattoos!) Beside them is a little Italian sandwich place called Ilre -- I believe they're open on Saturdays, but I'm not sure. I enjoyed my one visit there.

There's B Espresso Bar on Queen between Church and Jarvis. Not sure if Schnitzel Queen is open then, but I've heard they're good.
