Pizza for lunch today - Financial District

Hi guys,

I've got a strong craving for a good slice of pizza right now and am stepping out for lunch in about 45 minutes...not too sure where I can get a good slice around here, I normally go to O Sole Pizza (I think thats what it's called) in First Canadian Place but I find that to be alright...any other options that I can walk to in 10 minutes or less? I'm at York and Adelaide..any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Mercatto does a decent pie but it is probably crazy busy there at this moment. Just north of Adelaide on Bay.

I never thought I'd recommend Richtree in Brookfield place, but they have pizza oven and make individual thin crust pizzas that are messy, but very tasty. All in all, a very satisfying fix. Pass on the ready-made, go straight to the line in front of the pizza oven.

If you walk down Adelaide St E (@ Toronto St.) to Terroni, you'll get some of the best thin crust pizza in town. Might be a bit crowded during Friday lunch though.

Agreed. That's where I usually get my pies. Not bad, but you have to keep in mind that it is the financial district, so pickings are slim. I find it a bit oily/salty for my tastes....but then again, I thought the same thing about the ones I had in Italy. So I could just be out to lunch myself..

          Cheers and Happy Eating
