They cut thicker, the fish tasted different - Some might enjoy the new Kawacho. I'm trying to find out where he went. I'll try wherever it is. I was not thrilled with what I got today. It was just ok. If it were a block from where i lived I might go. Not worth a huge drive for me - esp. since before yesterday it was one of my faves. If someone else here would like to go and try it and recommend it, great. I no longer think it's one of the best, but to be fair, I had very high expectations, was surprized by the new staff, they were brand new to the place so maybe in a while. I will not be the one though to brave them again. the set meals seemed to be the same in price etc. the chirashi looked ok. But the style has changed with the new chefs.
