I still can't post a reply
The reply button just never loads. This happened a few months ago and was quietly fixed, but it's back with a vengeance!

Yes. Been happening to me again as well. Twice this morning. Finally got one reply to post by cutting and pasting twice. Gave up on the other one.

Ditto loads not reliable

Is this on every attempt or is it intermittent?
Obviously you'll have difficulty answering this, but you can email me at jacquilynne dot schlesier at cnet dot come and I'll try and help.

For me it's intermittent. Maybe a third to half the time. And, interestingly, it practically never happens on the Tech Help board.

Intermittent but "regularly intermittent" if you can understand this odd phrasing. It has become more and more frequent as well.
When I posted a reply to a post, the whirling gizmo (have no idea what it's called) never stops and does not allow a reply.
New responses have a significant time delay. When it reads "xyz poster 5 minutes ago", I cannot access that response until, at least, ten minutes have passed.
Also,I just tried to access "My Chow" and could not. "This page cannot be displayed" came up instead.
Thanks for checking this all out. There are some frankels involved with the fromisones.

now I am having trouble with "reply",yes/can't/can't/page vanished/can't/yes/
now ???This is an 08:28 EDT

Gee, I can reply here. But I can't reply anywhere else! The whirling gizmo just keeps on whirling when I try to hit reply.
I am also experiencing the errors when I try to access the My Chow page.
Ah, the never-ending problems on CH. What a joy this site has become!

The "gizmo" keeps spinning, but when I "F5" to reload the page and try to re-post, I get the duplicate post message. So the reply goes in, but the page hangs before showing the post.

hmmm ... that's different than what I'm getting. When I hit refresh, all the posts expand (what a pain) and when I try to repost sometimes the gizmo keeps spinning once again, sometimes it works. I haven't gotten the "duplicate" message (yet).

have had the same problem several times this am. hitting "reload" button on explorer and then "reply" seems to cure it, don't know why.

I'm having the same problem...not always, but sometimes. If I leave the post to try and load and go somewhere else on the website, it stops trying to load. But I just don't have the time and patience to wait while the thing loads and loads and loads....
Just tried to reply to a message that mentioned me specifically, so I wanted to chime in with my opinion (of course!!). I got my message all typed, hit "post my reply" and nothing for twenty minutes. I finally gave up trying, and my reply never got posted...

If it doesn't refresh fairly quickly (within one to two minutes depending on connection speed), it probably won't. Copy your post and f5/reload and try again within a couple minutes. If your post does go through the first time, you will just get a "duplicate post" message when you try again. ( I only wait 30 seconds before I try again)
Edit: Just happened three times replying to this post.
