Equinox for Restaurant Week

daves_32 Aug 7, 2008 05:12 AM

Good morning,
Although there are shining reviews for Equinox in general, there is very little on the boards about Equinox during Restaurant Week.
I have a reservation for next week and it will be my first experience at Equinox.
Does anyone know how restaurant week works there? What would (might) be on the menu? Any suggestions of dishes? If there is a can't miss app or something, i would just buy that additionally.

let me know!

    My experience there is several years old, and RW was the reason that I haven't been back. They had extremely limited options, the food was mediocre and the service was completed disinterested. However, others have had totally opposite experiences so maybe I just hit an off-night.

      Their menu is extremely seasonal so I would think that whatever was good in the past is likely not available right now.

      I do know the chef is raising a special breed of cow for his restaurants, so I think anything with beef would be a good call. I'd just look towards the ingredients in summer you enjoy - for me, that'd be anything with tomato, etc.

      I'm similarly curious how they are for restaurant week - I'm supposed to go there for lunch on Monday and I can report back!
