I understand that the Seafood Shack has changed hands. Two years ago I thought that their crabcakes were just superb. More recent reports express disappointment. Anybody care to weigh in on this?
I had the crab cake po' boy this spring and also didn't think it was as good as it was when the original owners had the restaurant. I don't think they are using the same wasabi sauce and the bread seemed different (not as good).
I recently ate there and was very underwhelmed. Seems like a cool place to hand out and drink and nibble, but not really for dining.
