Hi all-
LA Chow here looking for a place with ambiance and quality food to take my wife this Friday night.
We should be settled in and ready around 9:45pm and would love to hear some recommendations for a 10pm dinner in walking distance.
We'll be staying at the St. Francis.

Food wise anything goes, Asian, Italian, Steaks but keeping within a $$ budget would be cool too.

Simple sometimes is always the best.
Thanks,

Skimming what's available on opentable at this late date, good options include B44, Café Claude, Cortez, Fish & Farm, Scala's.

Also Ame and Michael Mina, but those may be over your budget.

On note for Scalas: Steamed mussels with leeks served with a cone of frites and aioli (from the appetizer menu $15) is my favorite late night light dinner after strolling Union Square. Perfect.

I would go to Scala's... kitchen is open until at least midnight on weekends and the food is very good, the ambience great. Dunno how late Cortez is open, but I hear good things.
