I am going to the southstreet seaportfor lunch can anyone help me with some diffenent places to eat, I am on a budget

Carmine's Italian Restaurant. It is past Red's and the Gap.

Another vote for Carmine's, maybe the last old-time Seaport joint standing. The dependable bartenders and genial waitstaff of the type not found just anywhere anymore. I crave their spaghetti side with fresh tomato-y sauce.

Beware the one restroom is dinky and rundown, and the wine list is more diner than bistro.

Go to Il Brigante or Barbarini. I am not a fan of Carmines.
