Folco's, a must miss!

I decided to go to this Italian Restaurant in Markham called Folco's Ristorante. It sounded good so I gave it a try. The restaurant itself was small but the atmosphere was very nice even classy. The gentleman that served us seemed very disinterested in his job, almost seemed like he was doing us a favour by taking our orders. The sign of a good server is someone who is always attentive and who ensures the customer is content. This waiter didn't even check to see if we needed more water, several parties at my table had an empty water glass sitting on the table.

The food was very ordinary, sub par even. I ordered lasagna and once I saw it, knew it wasn't going to be very good. He just dumped it on my table, I was thinking what happened to the parmesan that should be grated on the pasta? I actually had to ask him to shred the parmesan on my lasagna! My family was very unimpressed with their dishes too, I wasn't surprised. SInce it was my Birthday, I ordered tiramisu. I thought how bad could this be? Unfortunately, I really should have know better. The tiramisu was frozen! Once I put my spoon through it I could tell.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my meal! It is safe to say that I would have been better off eating a frozen lasagna from President's Choice than the one from this supposed "Italian Ristorante." My advice to any of you, if you are entertaining any thoughts of eating Italian food somewhere in Markham steer clear of this restaurant!!
