Help in Plymouth/Bristol NH area

Hi there. Years ago I used to spend my summers on Newfound lake and around the Plymouth and Bristol area. I was hoping to see if anyone had a must see, eat, or do in the area. Not really looking for fine dining just good food. Also any good farm stands and/or farmer's markets in the area. Thanks everyone for their help in advance.

I like Cu Na Mara, an Irish restaurant right on rt. 3A in Bristol across from the lake. I've had many good meals there, especially some excellent duck specials. The chef/owner Ray Gardiner will typically visit the dining room if they are not too busy. I think it's just what you are looking for. Check their website as when they have live entertainment they get busy, but I believe they take reservations.

Also, the Alphorn Bistro at the Inn at Danbury, NH offers outstanding German food, located on rt. 104.

A second endorsement for the Alphorn Bistro. Ask the chef to prepare the special Alsatian Chicken. Heavenly chicken schnitzel, served in a lemon wine sauce over perfectly crisp, yet melting spatzle. Delicious.
