looking for quebec city birthday dinner location with child

We will be in Quebec City for my birthday (7 Aug) and are looking for a good place to eat. I would like something outdoors but, not touristy. We're from New Orleans and love good food. Any suggestions? We'll have a six year old with us but, she is an adventurous eater.

A favourite one for the locals is Bistango (http://www.lebistango.com), very good food.

I don't know the Quebec City scene well, but since no one else has responded, I suggest you try "Le Saint Amour". I have eaten there many times, and have always enjoyed it - nicely done French.
