Sunday Brunch with Prime Rib

I live in Gardena, and I have been looking specifically for a prime rib Sunday brunch, preferably a place located near the water in the South Bay/beach cities area. I am willing to venture out into Long Beach, the Westside area, and possibly Hollywood if necessary. Please help! Thanks! =)

    1. When you think of prime rib in SoCal the first place that comes to mind is Lawry's. Lawry's The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills is only open for dinner, but their brother restaurants Tam O'Shanter in Los Feliz and Five Crowns in Orange County are both open for Sunday brunch. So is their much more casual Carvery in Century City. Google for info, and unfortunately the online menus do not include prices.

By the way, prime rib is amazingly easy to roast at home with a good technique and a little patience. Excellent prime rib roasts can be purchased at Costco (usually choice grade) and at amazing prices when on sale at How's Markets (often prime).

        1. Tam O'Shanter in Los Feliz.

            1. Roast Beef on Sunday is an English traditional. So, looking for someplace in, or close by, the South Bay near the water:

              Queen Mary - Long Beach
I would call and confirm the availabilty of Prime Rib as an option for their Sunday brunch and technically, it's not near the water but on it:

Whale & Ale - San Pedro
They specialize in Prime Rib but I couldn't tell from their website whether is a Sunday Lunch option. My guess is it is, but they don't seem to have a Sunday buffet, but they do have a 15% off coupon (food only) on their website.

                1. Tam O'Shanter in los feliz

                    1. has anybody tried cherrystone in gardena near the casino, i believe it''s near the corner of redondo beach blvd and normaandie.......i myself would like to get some feedback on it

                        1. I third Tam 'O Shanter, particularly over Lawry's since it's the same prime rib (the restaurants are in the same "family" i.e. chain) but the value is so much better. The ambiance is sorta cheesy but the Sunday brunch is really quite lovely. Wonderful souffle's too.
