Dinner in South Philly before the Phillies Game

I'm headed down to the Phillies game tonight and we are not in the mood to tailgate. I go to a lot of games and am in the mood to do something different than stadium food. Can anyone suggest somewhere to go to dinner so we can make the game on time? (Not Chickie and Pete's! I'm tired of that too!) Thanks.

Me and my son's routine (granted, on weekends) is to go to Cantina Los Caballitos
1651 E. Passyunk Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19148 [phone]. From there we walk two or three blocks to the Tasker - Orange Line to get to the stadium.
Cantina has a really solid beer list and satisfying food. Decor and vibe are cool too.

We sometimes go to Popi's Italian on 20th Street prior-it's convenient and they do a good job with getting you in & out for the game.

You can also bring your own food to the game (at least, no one has ever given me any problem when I've done it), so you could grab some Sarcones and eat at the ballpark.

True, I was just hoping to try out somewhere I haven't been before and not eat off of my lap!
