New Take - Out BBQ in Columbia County ?
Always on the lookout for good BBQ, I've heard talk of a new Take-Out only place in the Clermont / Germantown area that is getting rave reviews. Does anyone have info on this?

The only place I know of is Mep's at the intersection of Route 22 and 295 in Canaan - which is about as far away from Clermont / Germantown as you can get and still be in the County, but it's very good.
I've been down in that neck of the woods a fair amount recently, so I guess it's time to search this out. I'll definitely be on the look out.

I'm told it's near Clermont State Park and that there are signs on 9G. I don't get over that way much so it's all second hand.
I haven't heard of Mep's, sounds like I'll have to take my bike out on a BBQ run soon..

Found it! It's called Cue2Go.
It is indeed off 9G - at the intersection of County Route 6 across from the Cleremont sign. There's a sign attached to the stop signs at the intersection and a sign on the farm where Cue2Go is located.
I had a pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw and ratatouille. The roll was as light as a freshly made biscuit - same sort of flakiness, very absorbent. The pork was good - juicy, nicely flavored but not particularly smokey (I like smokey). The cole slaw was excellent - crunchy, not overly sweet, not overly runny. The ratatouille - wow. Fresh everything and just the right amount of garlic. Really outstanding.
The sauce that came with the sandwich was molasses based - which isn't your normal sweet sauce, I liked it. Not sure if I'd like it on a whole rack of ribs, but for dipping that amazing roll into, it was unique enough to keep me happy indeed.
They serve pulled pork, beef, country style ribs or st. louis style ribs. they offer house made sauce and salsa by the jar - and homemade smoked pickled jalapenos.
Definitely worth the trip - heck I drove maybe a 1/2 hour out of my way through torrential downpours... but the sun was shining as we sat and ate overlooking the farm.
