who makes the best sandwich-sized brioche rolls in the city?

    Haven't tried them, but I saw small sandwich-sized brioche rolls, packed by the dozen I think, at Bouchon Bakery at the Time/Warner Center on Saturday and most of their baked goods are good indeed. I'd call and ask, though, before making the trip.

      Eli's makes very nice brioche rolls. Think they are sold packaged as hamburger rolls, but who's to say they can't be used for other sandwiches?

      I've seen them at Fairway, Zabar's, and, of course, the Vinegar Factory....
