Does anyone have experience with this model? Along with food, I used my old model for vacuum packing items for mailing to overseas military folks who need foodstuffs that they can't get locally. I often wrap glass jars in bubble wrap and them "shrink wrap" them in Foodsaver bags. To date, I've mailed a couple of hundred glass jars with no breakage. I know there are other vacuum sealers out there with heavier duty motors, etc. but I'm not interested in spending four or five hundred dollars on one.
