Doc's Marina Grill - Bainbridge Island, WA

So I am looking at restaurant websites for Bainbridge Island, WA looking for somewhere new to eat when going there to catch the ferry. And I stumbled onto this oddit (Under the heading of "Attitude") I thought it was going to be something about being laid back and pleasant. I could not have been more wrong!:

"Most restaurants go out of their way to please every customer. Not Doc’s! We recognize that our approach won’t be for everybody. Because frankly, not everybody knows how to have fun (if you’re one of those, we can recommend several fine, local restaurants). Above all, Doc’s is about great food and a good time.

At Doc’s, we love what we’re doing. It’s easy because we use only great ingredients served with a generous dose of attitude, without unnecessary pretension.

So come in, relax and be ready to have a great meal and a good time.

  1. I've eaten there twice and didn't notice any attitude. Things were a little slow once, but that was my only complaint. The food I had each time was so tasty that it could take an hour and i'd be ok and just order another beer to tide me over.

Or maybe i'm used to east coast attitude so the PNW version doesn't phase me. :)

no attitude on display when we had a late lunch there recently before ferrying to Seattle. Food was excellent, delicious steamed mussels, wonderfully huge breaded prawns, my vodka martini was perfect. Service was friendly and efficient. Casual and laid back, an absolutely wonderful setting right on the marina. Outside seating for warm days. It's all good.
