Oysters in Seattle?

I have one afternoon/night in Seattle next month. I would really love to find a good place to sit down with a plate or two of fresh oysters on the half shell. I'll take recs only of places you have actually eaten the oysters at. I'm picky about the raw stuff. If the place also has good grilled fish to end the evening with, that would be a bonus.

It's a little touristy, but Elliot's Oyster House is hard to beat, especially their progressive happy hour.

I agree with you Chief Seattle, plus it is on the waterfront. It has always been my go to place for fresh oysters.

i recently enjoyed a dozen perfect large virginica oysters farmed out of totten inlet on hood canal at the oceanaire restaurant at 7th/olive - their 'fresh' list is unmatched for fish and they have a very light hand at the broiler - also much appreciated the spinach with (extra) garlic
