Best Texas Grill in Austin?

Hi, visiting Austin and looking for a real Texas grill experience, steaks, fish, chicken, game. Any thoughts?

I'm a native, but am not sure what you are referring to as a "Texas grill". Are you thinking of BBQ? If so, there are many suggestions on this board, otherwise, Austin Land & Cattle, and Three Forks may deliver for steak. Hudson's on the Bend is also a good choice for a variety of grill options (although, it is on the higher end of the price range). I've had an ok experience with Lambert's, but worth considering. Menus and info can be found here http://www.foodhawk.com/austin/

If your looking for game, Hudson's on the Bend is very good. It's also very pricey. Another choice would be Mesa Grill based on the other comments from this board. I have not tried it myself.

I don't think Texas grills are really anything unique when compared to other parts of the country. Except maybe the peanuts and shells.

I'll throw out Austin land and Cattle. Texas Land and Cattle as well.
