Frank Pepe to add new locations, as per the Westchester Business Journal

chowdom Aug 3, 2008 02:32 PM

Has anyone else read the article in the Westchester Business Journal regarding the expansion of the Frank Pepe pizza chain? One of the slated locations is the spot formerly occupied by Rickey's Clam House in Yonkers. This is to be a joint effort involving Pepe and the owner of Rickey's.

this is very good news, i have been to fairfield, which i thought was almost as good as the original at it's best and better than the original has been the last few times, so they seem to be able to duplicate. i'm ready already.lines will be tremendous

For all Pepe's enthusiasts [myself included] -- hopefully the news of their expansion is a GOOD thing. I knew something like this was in the works after having had a conversation some time ago with Pepe's owner, Gary Bimonte. ... Pepe's vision is coming to fruition.

If the quality is consistent - and they've proven they can do that with Fairfield according to the majority of opinion here (I've only been to Fairfield so can't compare) - then I am ecstatic. Will be hard to stay away.

Interesting, thanks for the info, chowdom. I'll get to find out firsthand if he can recreate the magic outside of New Haven.
