How is the food at Iota?

Considering eating there before a show, though it looks like I'd have to relocate in order to really see the performer. Thanks for any experiences.

  1. The cafe part is separated from the stage area except for a pass through, and there are very few seats at the bar (burgers, nachos) in the stage area. If you don't necessarily want to eat there, there are a melthing pot's worth of eating options within walking distance or a short drive, including Minh's nearby, and Rays the Steaks/Hell Burger further down Wilson.

    1. catfish wrap is good, seared tuna is good, gumbo bad, and i think the meatloaf was alright.

i also really enjoy their overpriced iceberg wedge. but i love bacon and creamy dressings.

        1. I had a portobello sandwich, which was not terribly good. That said, the fries were outstanding. Perfectly crisp with some nice seasonings. I wish I could remember what my BF ordered b/c he liked his meal much better than I did.
