Need Recs for Tampa

Hi all you Florida CH'rs!

My SO and I are heading to Tampa 8/11 - 8/14, staying at the Intercontinental and doing business at MacDill AFB, we will have a car. I am looking for breakfast and dinner recs. SO is picky, pretty much eats the basics, no seafood though. Oh yeah, he is frugal too. Now, having said that I can get him to spend more as long as the food is delicious and not too pompous. Me? Count me in for cheap to expensive and any food group out there.

Thanks so much for your input.

Check out Cafe' Paradiso on South MacDill. I think its the best Italian in town! Very small and most of the servers speak the language. Took my Father there for his birthday, keep im mind he immigrated to the States from Italy and he loved it!

For Breakfast, stop my Mama's Kitchen on Dale Mabry Hwy about .05 mile form the Dale Mabry gates to MacDill AFB or Pach's Place on Bay to Bay Blvd just west of Bayshore Blvd.
Dinner - check out Cellini's on Bayshore Blvd for great Italian, near the base south of Gandy Blvd.
