Mesquite flour-anywhere to be found?

Looking for mesquite flour.....has anyone found this unique flour in Manhattan? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

    i haven't looked for it here, but i used to buy it from the bulk bins at the co-op in santa monica when i lived out in LA - those places usually have the best selection of alternative flours. maybe one of the local ones here carries it - try calling 4th street, park slope, or flatbush.

    if you can't find it locally, you can order it online.

      Try Kalustyans on 27th and Lexington. Specialty grocer, I would be surprised if they do not have it.

          great suggestion, but i've never seen it at kalustyan's...you could always call & ask, though.

          Helloy ou can find it at Health Nut on 835 2nd Avenue. 212 490 2979. It is the Shiloh brand. Gardenspot is the distributor for all the health nut stores. If the health nut store nearest you doesnt have it, they can get it for you by the next week.

            thanks, peter! i've never seen shiloh farms mesquite flour, but according to their web site they just added it to their offerings - and it's organic to boot. excellent.

            time to do a little scouting...
