Kirsch for ice cream - where to buy?
Hello, I'm looking for kirsch or kirsch liqueurs for some of the recipes in "The Perfect Scoop" and was wondering where I might be able to buy some. I already checked Trader Joe's and they don't have it there, but I'm toting a 5 month old around with me and haven't been able to check all of the other grocery stores.
Should I be looking for kirsch or kirsch liqueurs? Is there a certain brand that is better? I was searching online and found recommendations for Miclo, but it's expensive and only available in Europe.
Thanks for your help in advance!

Where I am (CA) I can find kirsch in my local Safeway. It's also called kirschwasser, generally found with the other liqueurs, e.g. cassis, schnapps, etc. I'd think that almost any regular liquor store would carry it. It's also traditionally used in making fondue as well.
