Anyone been to Piatto Vecchio in Richmond Hill?

Haven't been there, but for a great Italian restaurant, try Ferrovia on Bayview in the Longo's plaza, south of John in Thornhill. The food is excellent and it has made and kept its listing in Eating and Drinking in Toronto (Toronto Life) for the 905 area! This restaurant is closed for lunch on the weekend though.

When did you eat at Ferrovia last? I ate there about a month a ago and the food has gone way down hill from a few months back. ( the opening of their Markham branch diluted some of their kitchen's talent?! ). Apart from the lamb shank, everything else ( pasta, veal and fish ) were all badly executed and mediocre tasting. Tutto Bene on Yonge/Hwy#7 is way better!
As for Piatto Vecchio. Food was boring and un-impressive. Don't bother!

Yea, I've been a few times, it's actually really good, designed to be a more urban downtown restaurant, but just in York Region. I'd definitely try the place out.

It's been a while since I lived in Richmond Hill, but I can't imagine them changing that much.
