Didn't you post something earlier looking for a place within a 10-minute radius of Penn? Well, the restaurant I recommended (Artisanal) has a great seafood platter -- clams, oysters, shrimp, etc. Kind of large for one, but if that's all you have (maybe with something like fries), I think you can finish it.

I don't think the words "super cheap" and super fresh" will ever pertain to seafood again. When I was a kid, we'd go down to Fisherman's Wharf in SF when the fishing boats came in and buy our fish. That was SCSF fish. Those days are long gone.

Well, there's Tracks, right IN Penn Station. The oysters are very fine there. It's a bar, though, so you'll pay sit-down prices, but pretty good sit-down prices. Bears no resemblance to Fisherman's Wharf, however.
