Burgers in Markham / Richmond Hill

Does anyone know of any good "Non Chain" burger places in the Markham / Richmond Hill area.

Hero Burger is very prominent but there just doesn'y seem to be much else.

I've always liked Steer Inn on Yonge just south of Major Mackenzie. Burgers are good and the onion rings are exceptional.

Do you know if their burgers are 100% ground beef or frozen patties?

3 Coins on Yonge in Richmond Hill, just north of Major Mac. It's one of the best burgers I've ever had.

Be carefull though. Bring your appetite and it closes at 3 apparently.

Hero Burger would not be my choice for a burger anyways. There's nothing wrong with the burger...I just don't feel that it is good value for your money. Have you tried Prime Burger? on Woodbine just south of hwy 7. I always order the fries and when I get them I think to myself " aaahhh they are so thick not very crispy" but then I dip them in gravy and end up finishing the whole box. There is something strangly addictive about them. Oh and the burgers aren't bad either.

Try Golden Star. On Yonge just a bit north of Steeles. Very good burger.

golden star is the clear winner, get the homeburger. The regular offering is just a frozen patty. Bare in mind it is heavy on the garlic.
