Anyone know where I can find taiyaki in Toronto? An assortment of different fillings would be nice, but I'd settle for just red bean.
look up http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bungeoppang and you'll find even greater success. they're pretty darn similar.
you should be able to find this at j-town and i've heard of people finding this in koreatown along bloor but i haven't witnessed it myself. check old chowhound threads.
my definite go to resource for these items would be galleria grocery in thornhill. there's a cute little stall outside that seems to be open no matter the weather. here's a post i did on it a while back with photos:
They sell something like that outside of Galleria supermarket on the weekends. They also have grilled cuttlefish ( or is it squid?)
