Pure Luck Dairy Wins Award at 2008 American Cheese Society Competition
The best bleu cheese I've ever had. Super pungent and strong flavor, but so, so delicious, all the things you want in a bleu. It packs a wallop, to be sure. Made by nice folks with lots of love, too. You can visit their farm in Dripping Springs, I believe. Their Del Cielo is a nice cheese, as well, and their chevre..l. Actually, to be perfectly honest, I think they make some of the best cheeses around, and I like every single one of them that I've tasted. Getting Pure Luck cheeses regularly is one of the best perks of living in Austin, if you ask me.
