Mistral in Sherman Oaks??

Some friends are taking my husband and I out to dinner here next week. I've never heard of it. Anyone know anything about it or have a recommendation on what to order? Thanks!

Must be good. I've lived walking distance to it as long as it's been in existence and have never been able to get a reservation. I've only heard good things. Enjoy and report!

had incredible mushroom soup there recently. also excellent steaks and desserts!

One of the best restaurants in the S.F. Valley. Steak Tartare is amazing and you can never go wrong with any of the specials. Have a great time. It's really an enjoyable place!

The steak tartare is quite good according to friends who love steak tartare (not always my thing). I've enjoyed the escargot appetizer, entrees I've had have been fine if not exactly memorable. It does tend to get quite loud.

Mistral is one of my fav. places in the valley. The onion soup is great as is everything else I've had. very pretty room and great service too.
