Looking for something with counter service, inexpensive with good food that I can stop at with my paper on the way to work... any suggestions?

The Dutch Eating Place at Reading Terminal Market has a great breakfast...but only on Wednesdays through Saturdays.

Have you tried Yonny's right at 16th and Cherry? I haven't been, but their menu board looks good and they have cute outside tables.

Marathon Grill or an egg-cheese-bacon on a long roll from a food cart. I prefer the guy on 3rd and Market but the 3rd and Chestnut had a good one too

Try Blue in Green at 12th and Chestnut.

            Little Pete's.
            Consistently good diner food.
And good enough for the mayor.
