How's the bar at Dinosaur BBQ?

Going tomorrow night and want to meet up with friends for some drinks before. Is the bar at Dinosaur itself pretty big? If not, anyone have any suggesstions for grabbing a drink nearby? Thanks

Ooh I wanted to check out the new place by the Kuma Inn guy! Thanks for the info guys! I think we are going to start out at the Hudson River Cafe in case the Dinosaur Bar is packed and maybe check out that Kuma inn place after.

It's been a while since I've been there, but there is a pretty big bar area that they use for bands some late nights. Also If you walk north up 12th Ave about 3 blocks there are 2 new restaurants that you could check out. One is an Asian-Latin Fushion from the chef from Kuma Inn.

The bar itself is fairly small. If your there early 5-6 o'clock it's not bad. There's larger "high top" tables across from the bar mainly for eating. There's also a bunch of picnic tables outside that you can bring your drink out to. Nothing really close by that I could recommend.

there is a bar called toast just south of 125th on broadway - not huge but good.

the bar at dinosaur is not big, but they have a very nice selection of beer
