KC... as much as I didn't think I would like Road Tasted with the Neely's...

They did Kansas City proud (and right)! Just happened to be flipping channels as usual at 11:30 at night, and noticed Christopher Elbow on the Food Network! I haven't watched it all yet, but it looks like they're headed to Cupini's next. Here's the schedule with the air dates: http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/show_...

Okay, so they still have grating personalities to me, but I am proud of the places they featured in KC. It was nice to see places other than BBQ get recognized. I'd never heard of Chambers' Cakes & Cookies, but the cake did look good. In addition to Cupini's, Christopher Elbow, and Chambers', they also featured Fritz's.

It took me a moment, but then noticed the location. I thought you meant Fritz's chili at 75th and Metcalf. Now that place is old school.....

We recently had some ribs from Fritzs which were really good but we also bought some smoked liver sausage that hit the garbage. It was very strange stuff. I can't recommend Christopher Elbow highly enough however. It has spoiled me for all other chocolates!

Fritz's is the best. Wednesday they have 2 for 1 sausages. Their smoked sausages are the best in town. I've gotten a smoked turkey from them too. Really, really solid. Don't make a stock out the bones though. Smoked turkey soup is weird.
