Pro's Ranch Market in Albuquerque

I searched through previous posts and could not find one on this topic...so apologies if there is one and I missed it. If you haven't already done so, check out the relatively new Pro's Ranch Market on Atrisco (off of Central). It's part of the CA-based chain that has been reviewed on other boards on this site.

Most of the other reviews stress the prepared foods deli section, but this place has it all in terms of Mexican ingredients, including items that I have not been able to find anywhere else in Albuquerque: coconut-stuffed preserved limes, fresh epazote, fresh flowers for "te de manzanilla," prepared masa for sweet tamales, "frijoles peruanos," etc. Everything looks very fresh and the prices are great. The pastries I've tried have all been very good as well.

Thanks for the heads up! I am in ABQ frequently and saw their weekly sales flyer at my son's house. Looked interesting, will have to check it out next time I am in town.

I trust you know about Sunflower Market? It is wonderful for fresh produce, meats, fish etc and a great wine and beer selection. There are 2: one on westside on Coors and Alameda and the other is 5112 Lomas Blvd, NE.

Lucky you. We in Phoenix have Pro's Phoenix Ranch Markets.

It's one of my favorite spots to both shop and eat.
