Eating on the way - LV to GCNP and back
Will be in LV at airport at 10:30am and heading for GCNP. We will be hungry for some late breakfast, preferrably early lunch and are considering the following. Are these (bouler city?) before or after Hoover Dam?
The Coffee Cup (featured on Food Network)

Pit Stop (good burgers?
)802 Buchanan Boulevard Suite D, Boulder City, NV 89005
Carlo's Mexican Cafe (apparently even worth the drive - true?)

The Snow Cap in Seligman, on Rt. 66
150 miles west of GC
We want to pick up something to have as a picnic at Hoover Dam at night; Safeway off the highway - yes? Or, should we pick up somewhere else?
On the way back, we will be leaving GCNP at 10ish and will need to eat before Hoover Dam (hopefully, pick up and eat in the car - breakfasty or lunch item). Suggestions?
What about Straight From Philly Steakout in Henderson? I gotta look at a good map.

I would stop @ Trader Joe's in Henderson or Whole foods which are both less than 20 miles from the dam and get some snacks, prepared foods, sandwiches to go!
Trader Joes"s @ 2716 N Green Valley Pkwy
Whole Foods @ 100 S. Green Valley Pkwy

Ciaogal - Sounds appetizing. Are these close to the highway we will be on or is it another 20min hike into town?

It depends on which way you are going to the dam...if you take the 515 to the 95....Get off at theGreen Valley Parkway and Whole foods is right there...you can see it from the HWY. Trader Joe's is a little further on the same road.

From Vegas to Dam to Grand Canyon, we want the quickest way.

The Snow Cap will be after Hoover Dam as you are driving from Vegas to the Canyon. It most certainly won't be a culinary experience to revolutionize your life, but you can't beat the story of the place. I would recommend stopping there for some ice cream on your way. While in Seligman be sure to check out the old barber shop, owned by Angel Delgadillo. His brother Juan (who passed away a couple of years ago) owned the Snow Cap and I believe his kids are still running it. Angel is the one credited with keeping Route 66 towns like Seligman on the map when Interstate 40 bypassed the mother road.

Damn - no pun intended.
When we leave the Airport for GCNP we were told to take 93 to Kingman, I40 to Williams and AZ64 to GC village
Will we stil be able to do this if we have to take a different HWY to Whole Foods?

This looks pretty straightforward to me (once you find your way out of the airport), and it corresponds to ciaogal's directions:

I would suggest two possibilities: 1. Pick up a sandwich at a Capriotti's location--there 's one on Eastern Ave. not far out of the way. 2. Just stop at the In-N-Out in Kingman.
