How to navigate Restaurant Week?

I need to take my daughter out for lunch on her birthday this Thursday but can't get a reservation anywhere she wants to go because of this seemingly endless restaurant week. Any ideas of a great place not on the list in the Flatiron district or Chelsea?
Or better yet any ideas how to get a reservation on the list, we will pay more even.
Thanks

MMRuth's suggestion about checking OpenTable is a good one. And as she indicated, it would be helpful to know what kinds of restaurants your daughter likes. That said...

Gascogne, on 8th Av., b/t 17th & 18th Sts., is a charming French bistro that is not participating in RW. If the weather cooperates, I can't think of a nicer way to celebrate a special occasion than sitting in their lovely garden and enjoying their delicious food.

Happy Birthday to your daughter and Bon Appetit!

I checked Open Table for lunch for 2 at 1pm in those areas and there seem to be some options, including A Voce, Devi, Periyali, The Cafe at Country, Tamarind.

Which restaurants was she interested in?
