Denver- Bakery

In addition to the needs I outlined in my post for Denver food sources, can anyone recommend a good bakery in Denver? Preferably close to the Denver Convention Center, where I am staying for my visit, but I will have some access to transportation. My preferences tend to run to European and Asian bakeries. I've not had particularly good experiences with Mexican ones. ( I just didn't like the ones I sampled.)

Gateaux does cakes, cookies, muffins, cupcakes, pastries, petit fours. Be warned - they are not inexpensive.

Ooh, thanks for posting about D bar. I heard about it a while back, but forgot. The menus look great, and very affordable for lunch and dinner. I'll have to check it out soon!

D Bar is favorably reviewed in this week's WESTWORD (http://www.westword.com/2008-07-31/di...), but again, considering that Alycon is looking for convenient to her hotel and affordable, that might not be the best bet. Then again, perhaps they can deliver a larger order.
