Sapporo Eats

Hi, I'm in Sapporo for the week.

I love Japanese food (and eat tons of it at home in NYC) so I'm excited to be here. But walking around and wandering into places led us to a mediocre sushi place last night. I know Hokkaido is known for its food so I'd love to really experience it.

Any restaurant recommendations (complete with meaningful directions) would be highly appreciated.

This isnt Japanese food per se, more Italian food made the Japanese way using Japanese ingredients:
