Weekday Early Cocktails Downtown

Meeting an old friend for cocktails downtown on Wed at 3:00. Some of my favorites not open until 5:00.

They include Grill 23 (killer martinis) and Teatro (love Hanna).

So - good drinks, engaging wait-staff, open early, downtown. $ not an issue.

Talk to me :)

I love the Last Hurrah over in the Omni Parker House. Fine Scotch's and some cool signature drinks. I haven't gone that early but it's a hotel bar so I'd think they'd be open at 3. The bar tenders have always been knowledgeable and very amiable.

I like the Oak Room bar. Talented bartenders and a great place to hang out and socialize.

How about the bar at the Boston Harbor Hotel, Rowes Wharf?

Good ideas. I think I recall that Blu is not open until 5:00 either. I am freaking myself out knowing how many bars are not open early in the day.

Jerne is open in the afternoon (she says from personal experience :) ), as is The Good Life (gets zooey after work, but I imagine it would be pleasant around 3). Beacon Hill Bistro is also open all day, and I like their tiny bar. I've only had wine, so I couldn't say for sure if they have a full license.

I am not sure it's open at that time, but without question, No. 9 Park.

No 9 opens at 5:30. So, I guess it is not without question.

Beacon Hill Bistro does indeed have a full liquor license now.

I guess it's not "downtown", but Eastern Standard is open all day. Bar is nice and the bartenders tend to be helpful and friendly.

How about new Ritz Bar or Blu?
