Private Party at the Jersey Shore
I am planning a family party after labor day for about 35-50 people after Labor Day. I am looking for recommendations on restaurants that have a private room or space to accomodate that number in the Spring Lake, Manasquan, Belmar area OR the Red Bank area. I would like to have either a brunch or a luncheon. We are a fairly low key bunch as so casual dinning is okay as long as the food is tasty, the ambience welcoming, the service good and the cost reasonable. Its a tall order so I welcome any suggestions or recommendations!

I went to a lovely shower at Piancones in Bradley Beach - I would check with them. Also, Simko's in Brielle has 2 nice spots for private parties - one is a separate typical private party room and the other is their enclosed sunroom room with a movable roof which is separated from the rest of the restaurant. Finally, my family threw me a really nice shower at the River House in Brielle which (as the name suggests) over looks the Manasquan River.

We're having a rehearsal dinner this Friday night at the Spring Lake Manor. The owner, John Nagle, has a great reputation. The Atlantic room holds 40 -100 people. After shopping around, we found the cost very reasonable. $35 pp for a served salad, buffet of four hot dishes, turkey and roast beef carving stations, and assorted dessert.

We are having a party for 40+ people this coming Sunday at Mr. C's at the Allenhurst Beach. Very nice place and they have been very accomodating:

Everything was great! I certainly recommend Mr. C's. The food was very good and it was a nice time. Actually, I just got back from dinner there. We ate on the outdoor deck and it was a magnificent evening. The ocean was beautiful and there were gulls flying everywhere in the moonlight.
