Restaurant Recommendation for UWS?

I am meeting family on the UWS in the 70s or lower 80s for dinner on Wednesday, only since they just moved to that area, and we have no idea for a good, reasonably-priced restaurant.. Any and every suggestion is welcomed! (Any type of cuisine is fine..)

I usually post on the Toronto-Canada board, but I lived on the UWS while working in Manhattan for about 5 years (I just moved back to Toronto about a year ago)

I second the recommendation for Ocean - very reasonable - mains about $25 and good sized portions. Food and atmosphere quite good

Ouest is fantastic, but a little higher price point than Ocean

If you like Thai, Land Thai Kitchen was fantastic, and very reasonable. No reservations taken

Reasonably priced is also subject to a great deal of interpretation. Some of my favorites include Pasha (Turkish; inexpensive pre-theatre pre-fixe), Kefi (Greek, cash only, no reservations, so maybe not the best for a group; also call to see whether it has moved, yet), Spiga (new Italian), Ouest (French), and Dovetail (new American, I guess). Many people really like Nice Matin.

Most of those above are not reasonably priced. Try Zeytin(Turkish) or Nonna(Italian) at 84th and Columbus or Bistro Citron(French) at 83rd and Columbus. Further South on Columbus at 79th I think, you might try Ocean. It's a BR Guest Restaurant with pretty good food.

Dovetail is not reasonably priced as OP requested. Most entrees are $20 - $30 and tasting menu is $70. We went for the first time Saturday night.
