Uncle Nick's now has a second location on the corner of 8th Av. & 29th St. We just ate there, and no surprise that the food is every bit as good as the 9th Ave. location where we've enjoyed many tasty meals over the years. Greek restaurants have a way with fish and seafood, and Uncle Nick's is no exception.

Mare, on Eighth around 21st. Some people slam it, but I always enjoy it.

Last week I ate an excellently prepared salmon filet at Bottino on 10th at 24th, and one of my dining companions enjoyed clams.
