How to defrost pie?
OK, this sounds like a stupid question, BUT....Last week we purchased an Amish homemade peach lattice crust pie at a farmstand. We thought we would use it right up and then decided to go out to dinner and one thing led to another. I wrapped the pie really tight in plastic wrap and then covered with alumninum foil. Given all preferences, this should have been eaten fresh. So, I want to serve it in a day or two. Do I defrost on the counter? Do I defrost in the fridge? Should I pop into low oven for a few minutes to "refresh"? Thanks in advance for your help!
