new farmers market @ Viva Tastings?

I know nothing about this except that I just saw it posted on Craigslist. Anyone know more?

First Prince Edward County Farmer’s Market Arrives in Toronto (Viva Tastings, College & Lippencott)

Prince Edward County’s Local Agricultural Initiative announces the first Toronto area Prince Edward County Farmer’s Market, featuring locally-grown and harvested heirloom vegetables, farm-fresh fruits and herbs and other specialty products available for purchased from Prince Edward County farmers. Held each Thursday from 4-7PM throughout the summer, this new, free weekly market features local Prince Edward County producers including Fosterholm Farms, Hagerman Family Farms and Vicki’s Veggies, and other favourite farms and producers from Picton and surrounding Prince Edward County.

Beginning this Thursday, July 24th, the market will run through the summer and fall at Viva Tastings, Foodie Destination, 409 College Street, east of Bathurst on the corner of College & Lippencott.

        The produce from Fosterholm Farms is amazing. I grew up going to their place to pick strawberries every Saturday in season.

        I'll definitely go to check this out. Thanks for the posting.

          If only Black River cheese would come down with some of their today's fresh curds and it would be nirvana.
