I just tried adding turmeric to a vegetable pasta dish: garlic, olive oil, carrots, snap peas and zucchini, that had been seasoned with salt, pepper, and a little cream. I had this with farfalle that i mixed in at the end. I don't think I've ever done turmeric before, but had seen it in a recipe book for some other pasta dish. Turned out fantastic.
What was your last experiment that turned out great?

  1. From-scratch miso soup.

    1. My friend and I made cherry chutney the other night and it turned out wonderfully. We did find a recipe on the Internet that served as a loose guide but we improvised a lot and were pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

      1. Pineapple-lime-ginger margaritas... I had the idea in my head for a while and we finally made them the other night. They turned out really great!
