Gotta get me some Ting!

From their website:

Ting Soda

"What is this ting !

(Grapefruit Soda) Ting, made from Jamaican grapefruit with no preservatives is the ultimate thirst quencher. It is a lightly carbonated citrus drink.

This carbonated drink with the green and yellow label is the unofficial national soft drink of Jamaica. It is quite simple and all apologies to "aranciatta, the greatest non-alcoholic summer beverage, full stop. Sure there are cheap imitations, but they are just that.

The drink is unstoppable on ice. It goes nice with the hard stuff, the universal deadly Sin Ting will set your teeth chattering.

Ting - the Jamaican sunshine and cool breeze in a bottle."

I had my first Ting in the BVI and I have been on a quest to find it in New England for nearly a year. It is great with rum, vodka and tequila or just plain with ice. I don't want to mail order it but I will drive anywhere around greater Boston or New England to pick some up.

  1. Hey! There was a thread about this in the past.

Personally I have bought it at Flames II whenever I eat there, and I believe I have seen it at Shaws as well.

    1. It's not hard to locate. They sell Ting at most Stop and Shops, in the International Foods aisle.

      1. I have bought it in Waltham at Shaws on River Street. The only reason I go to that particular Shaws is because their Shop the World Section is two aisles long. It's right down the stret from Russos. The shop the world section has a lot of interesting beverages and the Ting soda comes in green glass bottles. It kind of tastes like the stuff you put into a tom collins.

        1. Plenty of Ting in the Spanish/Latin markets in the Merrimack Valley (especially Lawrence), Love it with tequila.

          1. They regularly carry it at the Stop and Shop on Temple Street in Framingham. But, I haven't seen it at any of the other S&S's in the my area.

            1. Stop and Shop in Dorchester (Allstate Road in the mall) has it in the International Food Aisle. I've also bought it at Tropical Foods in Roxbury.
