Montien Recs

Only been a couple of times, really like the pork with peppercorns. Any other great dishes?

TIA

Ask for their Thai menu, which has a lot of interesting items not on the regular one. Hard to go wrong off that list.

The fire hot pot with beef tendon and tomatoes is a wonderful spicy dish.
Tried it after it was featured in the Phoenix and wasn't disappointed at all.

you have good taste..the pork with peppercorns is probably my favorite dish there..:)..also like crispy duck w/spicy sauce, pad ki mow (drunken noodles..chow foon), squid or beef salad, Thai sausage. There's more but that's what comes to mind quickly.

I think Montien was the first place I ever had "drunken noodles" (and you may have been the one who told me they were called pad ki mow--that was definitely learned from chowhound), and that's still what I order when I'm there. It's different from my now-usual (Khao Sarn)--lots of fresh vegetables, and sliced rather than ground chicken, and I still love it.
