Traveling from Pittsburgh to Nemacolin Woods

Are there any places to stop for lunch along the way?

  1. You could stop at Glisan's on Rt. 40 but you would almost be at Nemacolin. They have the best bread/rolls as well as pies. It is a smallish diner type of place.

Caporellas Bella Cucina on Rt. 51 is on the way assuming your'e taking Rt. 51 to get to Nemacolin. Call first as I've recntly heard they're closing this week or next for vacation. I live out that way and there's really not much else I'd recommend unfortunately. I'd say it's the best of what little we have other than the many chains.

If you don't eat at Glisan's on Rt. 40, at least stop for a pie and coffee. You might want to take a pie home with you.
