Spotted Pig or Falai?

I have one night in NYC to celebrate my 50th. I prefer small funky restaurants with great food. Love people watching and a fun atmosphere. I was thinking Spotted Pig or Falai.

Maybe I should do Spotted Pig for lunch and Falai for dinner? What do you think?

I have only been to Falai. I'm sure I posted a report if you want to do a search. Their desserts are incredible. Sometimes we have just gone for dessert and espresso and sat at the tiny bar. It is a small space, very white and they have a patio.

Thank you. I will search for your post on Falai.

Has anyone been to the Spotted Pig?

I have not been to Falai, but I love the Spotted Pig. It is a great time and really good food. They do not take reservations and if you are going in the evening, there will be a wait. You could do dinner there and dessert at Falai, or a lunch/dinner would be the best of both worlds. I have not been for lunch, but if I am not mistaken, the menu is almost teh same for lunch and dinner.
